For the second year in a row, members of the South Bay Association of REALTORS volunteered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA) to build a home in Long Beach for a family in need of a home to call their own. The Long Beach build site consists of four homes, one of which will be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for a family living with a disability.
This “build day” was hosted by the South Bay Young Professionals Network (SBAOR YPN). The team of 25 South Bay REALTORS and Habitat Crew Leaders spent the day putting siding on the home and garage, doing electrical work and installing windows. The group had a great time during the build, while working hard and coming together as a team they left the build with a real sense of accomplishment.
